NUJ VP, Secretary Zone D extend Eid greetings, urge sustenance of Ramadan’s lessons
The Vice President and Secretary Zone D of the Nigeria Union of Journalists has felicitated with Muslims on the end of a successful Ramadan and Eid El fitr celebration calling for sustenance of lessons learned during the month.
This is contained in a statement signed by the VP and Secretary on Sunday
The Vice President Zone D Adeiza Momohjimoh and Secretary Dauda Mohammed heartily celebrate with the Muslims in the zone and entire Union on the Eid El fitr celebration.
“The twenty – Nine days of fasting though sometimes challenging provided an opportunity to be closer to the Almighty Allah.”
”As we celebrate let us consider the lessons of compassion, kindness and generosity learned and imbibe them even after the month.”
”The prayer is for all the acts of worship to be accepted.
While calling for moderation during celebration the expectation is for those with means to always consider the needy in their Areas.”
”Let us all to strive towards peaceful coexistence while supporting our leadership in its quest to reposition the fortunes of our Great Union, and for all to remain United.”
