Super Eagles set to battle Ghana, Jamaica, Trinidad in 2025 Unity Cup

Nigeria’s Super Eagles will take part in the 2025 Unity Cup Invitational Tournament this May, alongside Jamaica, Ghana, and Trinidad & Tobago.
The matches are scheduled to hold at the 17,250-capacity Gtech Community Stadium in Brentford, West London.
According to a statement released by the Nigeria Football Federation on Thursday, the competition will kick off on Tuesday, 27th May, with Trinidad & Tobago taking on Jamaica in the first semi-final.
The following day, Nigeria—three-time African champions—will face off with long-time rivals Ghana, who are four-time African champions, in the second semi-final. This match continues a football rivalry that has lasted for 74 years.
All participating teams will return to action on Saturday, 31st May. The third-place game will take place before the final, where the winner of the 2025 Unity Cup will be crowned.
NFF President, Alhaji Ibrahim Musa Gusau, noted that the tournament is a valuable opportunity for the Super Eagles to build team chemistry ahead of the FIFA World Cup qualifiers coming up in September.
