Two children feared killed as explosion rocks Abakpa community in Kaduna
Tragedy struck the Abakpa area of Kaduna State on Tuesday as an explosion claimed the lives of two children, a 13-year-old boy named Imam and a six-year-old girl identified as Nasrin, NUJ FCT reports.
The blast, which occurred close to the old site of the Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA), also left three other residents with injuries.
The cause of the explosion is yet to be determined, as security operatives have arrived at the scene and are currently investigating the incident.
Speaking to Newsmen, a resident who preferred to remain anonymous said, “I was taking my bath when I heard the explosion and ran out immediately.”
