NUJ FCT Council Pays Courtesy Visit to NYSC Governing Board Chairman, Ntufam Hilliard Eta

The Chairman of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) Governing Board, Ntufam Hilliard Eta, recently welcomed members of the Nigerian Union of Journalists (NUJ) FCT Council to his home in Abuja during a courtesy visit.
The meeting was friendly and thoughtful, offering a good chance for open discussion, collaboration, and the sharing of ideas. During the visit, Ntufam Eta shared his hopes and plans for the future of the NYSC. He spoke about the need for fresh thinking and improvements to keep the scheme relevant and in line with the country’s development goals.
He also talked about his strong commitment to empowering young people, promoting national unity, and updating how the NYSC operates. He highlighted how important good communication and openness are to achieving these aims and said the media plays a key role in building the nation.
Speaking for the NUJ team, Ms Grace Ike thanked the Chairman for the warm welcome. She praised his clear sense of purpose and dedication to public service, and wished him a successful and meaningful time in office.
As a sign of appreciation, the NUJ team gave the Chairman a souvenir to mark the visit, further building the relationship between the press and the NYSC.
During the visit, the NUJ FCT Council Chairman also invited Ntufam Eta to their upcoming press week event, which will take place in July at the Transcorp Hilton. Ntufam Eta gladly accepted the invitation.
The visit ended with both sides promising to keep working together in the interest of youth development and building a stronger nation.
