Governor Okpebholo Swears In six new commissioners in Edo
The Governor of Edo State, Senator Monday Okpebholo has sworn-in six commissioners into the State Executive Council with their portfolios.
This was contained in a statement signed by the Secretary to the Government of the State, Umar Musa Ikhilor, Esq, and made available to journalists on Tuesday.
According to the statement, the newly sworn in commissioners and their portfolios include, Hon. Paul Nosayaba Ohonbamu- Ministry of Information and Communications, Hon. Dr. Washington Osa Osifo- Ministry of Water Resources and Energy and Dr. Emmanuel Paddy Iyamu- Ministry of Education.
Others are, Sir (Dr.) Lucky Eseigbe- Ministry of Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Mr. Andrew Ijegbai- Ministry of Mining and Barr. Marie Olabisi Idaomi- Ministry of Women Affairs and Social Development.
“All Commissioners are expected to resume at their various Ministries with immediate effect”, the statement said.
