BREAKING: Gov Fubara dumps PDP, joins APC
Rivers State Governor, Siminalayi Fubara, has formally defected to the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
The governor made the announcement on Tuesday during a stakeholders’ meeting at the Government House in Port Harcourt, marking one of the most significant political shifts in the state this year.
Fubara’s move places him among several governors and top political figures who have crossed to the APC in recent months, further strengthening the ruling party’s influence ahead of the next electoral cycle.
