Governor Yusuf acknowledged Sagagi’s contributions, saying he “played a significant role in the state’s development, particularly in politics, religion, and the growth of small and medium enterprises.” He also wished the outgoing commissioner success in his future endeavours.

The statement highlighted that the dismissal is part of a broader restructuring strategy aimed at enhancing systematic growth and sustainable development. Governor Yusuf assured Kano residents that his administration remains committed to “efficient service delivery and good governance.”

No successor has been named for the commissioner role.
