Soludo promises ₦1 Million reward to boost Voter turnout
Anambra State Governor, Prof. Chukwuma Soludo, of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), has announced a ₦1 million reward for the community with the highest voter turnout in the forthcoming November 8 governorship election.
Soludo said the initiative is part of APGA’s effort to reduce voter apathy and encourage active citizen participation in the democratic process. He explained that the ₦1 million prize would go to the community that records the highest percentage of registered voters who actually cast their votes.
The governor urged residents to come out in large numbers on election day, stressing that democracy can only thrive when people take part in choosing their leaders.
He also assured that the poll would be peaceful, transparent, and well-coordinated, while calling on political parties and their supporters to maintain order and respect the rules of engagement.
