Iran fires missiles at US Bases in Qatar, Iraq

Iran has launched a fresh wave of missile attacks targeting US military installations in Qatar and Iraq, marking a dangerous escalation in the ongoing conflict between both nations.
According to state media, the offensive, dubbed ‘Blessing of Victory,’ was carried out on Monday evening in what officials described as a “powerful” response to recent American strikes on key Iranian nuclear facilities.
Iran’s official news agency, IRNA, confirmed the operation, reporting that multiple missiles were fired at US bases, including the Al Udeid Air Base in Qatar — America’s largest military outpost in the Middle East. AFP journalists in Doha said they heard loud explosions, causing panic in parts of the city.
In a swift response, Qatari authorities revealed that their air defense systems successfully intercepted the missiles aimed at Al Udeid, preventing any casualties or damage. The country’s Ministry of Defense confirmed that there were no deaths or injuries from the attempted strike.
This latest episode follows intensified hostilities between Iran and Israel, with fears that the regional crisis could spiral into a wider conflict involving global powers. The Iranian military had earlier vowed more “devastating operations” against those it accuses of aggression against its sovereignty.
Tensions remain high across the Gulf as both sides trade threats and military action, raising international concern about the safety of civilians and the stability of the region.
