FCT Decides : Ghost Polling Units: INEC officers wait endlessly for elusive voters in Pai Ward
As of the time of filing this report, Polling Unit 014 at the Primary Health Care Center in Pai Ward Primary Ward Center shows zero accreditations.
Presiding Officer Gloria Oricha reports only eight (8) registered voters, with the team waiting since 9 AM and hoping for turnout before closing at 2:30 PM.
According to her “BVAs are working perfectly here, though some colleagues report issues with theirs,” she noted.
The atmosphere so far is peaceful.
Nearby, Presiding Officer Abubakar Suleiman of Polling Unit 013 shares the same issue.
He said “ no voters have arrived. “We’re waiting—some have come, but their names aren’t on the list, and they’re cooperating,” he said.
