The council emphasised its dedication to upholding the principles of integrity and objectivity in the media profession while fostering the growth and development of its members.
The NUJ FCT Council Chairman, Ms Grace Ike, made this known at Monday’s swearing-in ceremony for the Voice of Nigeria FCT Chapel’s newly elected executive.

“The NUJ FCT Council will continue to support the chapel and ensure that the ethics of journalism are sustained and upheld. It is crucial to be good ambassadors of the union and justify the confidence reposed in you by members.”
The newly elected Chairman of the VON NUJ Chapel, Mrs. Feyisayo Oyebanji, expressed heartfelt gratitude to the members for their trust and support. “I appreciate your confidence in my leadership and promise to work tirelessly to uphold the values and expectations of this chapel. Together, we will achieve greater heights and reinforce our commitment to ethical journalism,” she said.
