Tinubu tells local and foreign investors that Nigeria is ready for business
President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has told both local and foreign investors that Nigeria is open for business and partnership.
He spoke at the Lagos International Trade Fair, where government officials, business leaders and international companies were present.
Tinubu said his administration is working to make the business environment easier.
He said the government is fixing problems like port delays, complex taxes, unstable power supply and slow business registration.
According to him, new reforms are coming, including:
• Digital systems for ports to reduce corruption
• One-stop office for business permits
• Fairer and simpler tax system
• Faster court processes for business disputes
He also called on Nigerian companies to grow local production so the country can reduce imports and create more jobs.
Investors at the event said they are watching to see how these promises will be carried out.
