BREAKING: ABU, Zaria gets new VC

The Governing Council of the Ahmadi Bello University, Zaria as appointed Prof Adamu Ahmed as the new Vice-Chancellor of the institution.

A statement from the Directorate of Information in the University said the appointment of Prof Ahmed was announced at about 6:15 am Wednesday, 5th February, 2025) at the end of the 209th (Special) Council meeting presided over by its Chairman, Mallam Yayale Ahmed.

A one time Director of the institution’s Directorate of University Advancement, Prof Ahmed is the current Pro-Chancellor and Chairman of Governing Council of the Federal University of Education, Kano.
