The Real McCoy

There is a “God-shaped” vacuum in the heart of every human being—nothing else can fill it apart from the One who created it. Not all the wealth in the world, not the most intense pleasures, not alcohol, not your partner, not your relationship, not even your marriage… It is specifically God-shaped!

Humans may profess undying love for you one moment, but they can disappear without a backwards glance at the slightest sign of offence or difficulty.

Jesus Christ is the very embodiment of true love. While we were still lost in sin and transgressions, He offered Himself as a sacrifice for us. He paid a debt He did not owe because we owed a debt we could never have paid. Jesus Christ is the definition, the description, and the ultimate destination of true love!

To experience this incredible, boundless, and everlasting love I speak of, please pray this prayer sincerely from your heart:

*”O Lord God, I come to You in the name of Jesus Christ. Your Word says, ‘Whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved’ (Acts 2:21).

I ask Jesus to come into my heart and be my life’s Lord. I receive eternal life into my spirit, and according to Romans 10:9, ‘That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved,’ I declare that I am saved! I am born again! I am a child of God!

I now have Christ dwelling in me, and greater is He that is in me than he that is in the world! (1 John 4:4). I now walk in the consciousness of my new life in Christ Jesus. Hallelujah!”*
