Nigeria National League gets new Chief Operating Officer
The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has announced the appointment of Mr Danlami Alanana as the new Chief Operating Officer (COO) of the Nigeria National League (NNL).
He takes over from Dr Ayo Abdulrahaman, who has been reassigned to oversee Inter-Club Competitions within the federation.
Mr Alanana brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to his new role.
He previously served as the first Executive Secretary of the Nigeria Women’s Football League, a position in which he made significant contributions to the growth of women’s football in the country.
Within the NFF, he has held several important positions, including Secretary of the Referees Committee, the Players and Status Arbitration Committee, and the Match Commissioners Appointment Committee.
Before this latest elevation, Alanana was the Head of the Inter-Clubs Department at the NFF. In that capacity, he worked closely with prominent football figures such as the late Chief Oyuiki Obaseki, Charles Ojugbana, Alhassan Yakmut, and Saliu Abubakar to help shape the Nigeria Premier Football League.
