Indonesia Flood Tragedy Deepens: 631 dead, 472 missing in Sumatra disaster
The death toll from the devastating flooding and landslides that have ravaged Indonesia’s Sumatra region has climbed to 631, according to an update released on Tuesday by the country’s disaster management agency.
The scale of the tragedy continues to deepen, with at least one million people displaced from their homes as communities struggle to cope with the aftermath.
