Rep member donates office to Obedient movement in South West
The member representing Ojo Federal Constituency of Lagos State in the House of Representatives, Seyi Sowunmi has donated offices to the Obedient Movement in the six South western states ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The lawmaker who is also the Southwest coordinator of the movement made the announcement at the regional conference of the movement in Lagos.
Sowunmi said the donation is aimed at strengthening the movement in the Southwest region and provide a decent place for the Obidient faithful to strategize, plan and advance the movement’s goals ahead of the 2027 elections.
He said the southwest states of Lagos, Oyo, Ogun, Osun, Ondo and Ekiti will benefit from donations.
Sowunmi is also a member of the Nnadi Usman led National Caretaker Committee of the Labour Party.
Ahead of the fast-approaching 2027 general elections, leaders and representatives of the movement in the Southwest and beyond gathered in Lagos to chart a way forward for the movement.
Those who attended the regional meeting include the National Coordinator of the Obidients Movement Worldwide, Dr. Yunusa Tanko, Barrister Dele Farotimi and Architect Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour, Sir Dele Abiola, Sir Lanre Fadahunsi. Others include Prof. Ambode Abiodun, Dr. Kehinde Sogunle, Sir Emmanuel Oladotun and Hon. Oloye Adeniji among other notable dignitaries.
The event marked a major step in the movement’s efforts to solidify its presence in the region and galvanise supporters toward its long-term political vision.
