Court admits videos as evidence in Nnamdi Kanu’s trial

The Federal High Court in Abuja has admitted video evidence featuring General T.Y. Danjuma (rtd), Imo State Governor Hope Uzodinma, and the Director General of the Department of State Services (DSS), Adeola Ajayi, in the ongoing trial of Nnamdi Kanu.
Justice James Omotosho, presiding over the case, accepted a flash drive containing the three separate video recordings as Exhibit PW-P. A certificate of compliance accompanying the footage was also marked as Exhibit PWP-1.
The materials were tendered by Paul Erokoro, SAN, counsel to Kanu, the detained leader of the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB). The submissions were not opposed by the Federal Government’s legal representative, Adegboyega Awomolo, SAN.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the three videos were played in the open court, and the FG’s witness, an operative of the DSS identified as BBB, was cross-examined by Erokoro.
