Ned Nwoko opens modern mini Stadium in Delta
Senator Ned Nwoko has opened a new modern mini stadium in Issele-Uku, Aniocha North Local Government Area of Delta State.
The project is part of his plan to promote sports and support young people in Delta North.
The stadium has a standard football pitch, a smaller seven-a-side field, pavilions for spectators, and dressing rooms for players.
Speaking during the event, Senator Nwoko said the stadium will help discover young talents and keep youths busy with sports instead of crime. He added that sports can create jobs and unite communities.
Residents of Issele-Uku praised the senator for the project, saying it will bring more life and activities to the area.
The mini stadium will host local tournaments and serve as a training ground for young athletes across Delta North.
