BREAKING: PDP expels Wike, Fayose, Anyanwu as convention takes decisive turn in Ibadan
The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has expelled the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike; former Ekiti State Governor, Ayodele Fayose; and the party’s former National Secretary, Samuel Anyanwu.
Their expulsion was initiated during the party’s ongoing national convention in Ibadan, Oyo State.
Chief Olabode George, former National Vice Chairman (South), moved the motion for their expulsion on the convention floor.
The motion was immediately seconded by Hon. Samaila Buga, Chairman of the PDP in Bauchi State, giving it overwhelming backing.

The disciplinary action adds to the series of shake-ups within the party as delegates push to restore unity and enforce strict adherence to party rules ahead of future elections.
