BREAKING: Mojisola Meranda steps down as Speaker of Lagos State House of Assembly

The Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly, Mojisola Meranda, has officially stepped down from her role.

Her resignation on Monday was preceded by the resignations of several principal officers of the House, who stepped down one after the other.

Their replacements were immediately nominated.
